MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: 
To lead the commercial activities of the Fragrances Consumer Goods division in the Nigerian market, ensuring profitable growth and the sustainable development of sales.
The role also acts as a key link between the Nigerian team and regional management, supporting people-related and administrative matters in close collaboration with the Director Fragrances Sub-Saharan Africa.

SCOPE OF JOB
Customer Centricity 
Sales Management
•Drive sales and business development for V. MANE FILS Nigeria under the supervision of the Director for the West African market.
•Be accountable for achieving the country sales budget.
•Translate the regional plan into a country-specific commercial strategy and define a local strategic plan for validation by Regional Management.
•Implement and monitor the commercial strategy, ensuring that the required resources are in place to achieve objectives and identifying gaps where necessary.
•Focus on key growth priorities, including must-win projects, talent recruitment, employee development, prospecting for new business opportunities, forecast accuracy, and follow-up on overdue receivables.
•Lead and coordinate major projects in Nigeria in collaboration with the relevant Category Manager.
•Manage communication within the local market.
•Provide the regional / EMEA structure and Category Managers with all relevant market information, including customer, competitor, and product insights.
•Develop a sustainable business in the market in line with company guidelines.
•Identify and secure new business opportunities aligned with strategic plans, and escalate opportunities that fall outside the agreed plan to management.
•Actively support the Global Accounts organisation in the market.
•Actively support distributors and agents in the market.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with key local customers.
•Report results and analyses to regional management on a weekly and monthly basis.

Independence (Finance)
•Monitor overdue debtors and contribute to the setting of credit policies in line with direct management guidance, company policies, and procedures.
•Ensure compliance with corporate rules, including environment, ethics, and best practices.
•Manage the expense budget in line with regional management guidelines and MANE best practices.
•Support administrative and financial processes in coordination with the Fragrance Director Sub-Saharan Africa.

QUALIFICATIONS &amp; SKILLS LEVEL
•Business School qualification or Master's Degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
•Minimum of 7 years' experience in International Business Development within FMCG, either in a brand-owner environment or a Fragrance house.
•Good knowledge of the FMCG market.
•Strong knowledge of the Nigerian market.
•Frequent local and international business travel is required.

The position will provide:
•Administrative support to the Commercial team (Key Account Managers) to participate in the performance of the Fragrance division's commercial activity and development,
•General support and service to ensure that the office runs efficiently

Scope of job:
Customer Centricity
-Support to Commercial Team
•Create and update all commercial projects in the dedicated system. This includes (not exhaustively):
o Project creation at reception of KAM briefs, 
o Requests for samples, 
o Requests for stability tests, 
o Requests for Pricelists,
o Requests for technical and legal documentation to be provided to customers,
o Entering Project and material feedback at the end of the life of the project.
•Liaise with relevant parties (pricing, laboratory, evaluation teams, etc.) who will provide you with the necessary support when required over the project life cycle.
•Create material supply requests to support the needs of the regional laboratory in Abidjan
•Ensure that all system information is accurate at all times and updated when needed.
•Generate new pricelists for our customers yearly.
•Act as a superuser / key-user of GPMS for the SSA region 
o Participate into dedicated trainings
o Train and support other GPMS users in the region when required.

-Support to Fragrance Director 
•Good understanding of processes to provide effective support with proactivity.
•Sense of accountability,
•Liaise with relevant stakeholders to find sustainable solutions to challenges encountered
•Work towards meeting set deadlines, while maintaining a good understanding of priorities.

-Parcel Management
•Act as the point of contact to Head Office for the reception of parcels and provide dispatch customs invoices when requested.
•DHL / UPS: Prepare documentation for all parcels, track and communicate accordingly with parties concerned.

The Fragrance Evaluation Manager Sub Saharan Africa oversees the Sub-Saharan Africa FDM team based in Ivory Coast and South Africa. She/he is fundamentally a team leader as well as a project manager in the fragrance division. His/her duty as manager is to assist the Fragrance sales team and lead the Evaluation team efficiently confidently by bringing guidance, market knowledge and olfactive strategies. As an evaluator he/she must manage fragrance projects in order to answer client briefs with the best proposals by a scheduled due date.
His/ her role is to build a high performing SSA evaluation team.

SCOPE OF JOB

Independence (Finance)
•Manage his/her team annual trip budget effectively

Innovation
•Has the responsibility to lead the build and update the relevant collections in each category, regarding the needs of the customers in each country
•Is responsible for the transmission of the knowledge within his / her team of any innovation (product/process) developed inside Mane worldwide

Customer Centricity
•Ensure the knowledge of the customer preferences through a strong link with sales 
•Ensure the knowledge of the consumer needs in each country through a strong link with marketing and CI departments

Project management
She/he is given Fragrance projects which need to be compliant to the client brief and MANE Development Policies.
His/her mission is:
•To decide the technical &amp; human needs of the project
•To schedule a due date together with the Sales Department
•To make sure the brief is answered correctly.
•To justify his/her olfactive choices

Fragrance management
To answer a brief precisely and promote Mane's Creations, the incumbent should:
•Analyse the market and its evolution.
•Create, complete, and optimize a local fragrance collection fitting the market trends and expectations.
•Manage the collection using tools given by the company (classification of fragrances, stability test, GPMS)
•Advise the Sales department &amp; clients on their olfactive choices

People
•Align yourself to the performance driven culture through the implementation of performance management and talent management.
•Participate in development planning process.
•Align yourself to the Mane Code of Ethics.
•Align yourself to the Value System.
•Build a strong SSA evaluation organisation acting as one team for speed and best-in-class olfactive proposals for each project
•Assist the evaluation team when they approach difficulties with projects.
•Clear instructions and guidance to the team as how to handle projects and utilise resources for specific clients and projects.
•As a manager she/he must ensure that communication among the team is strong and continuous and that they are working successfully together
•It is his/her duty to identify team weaknesses and strengths to recommend further development and training for those individuals to improve their skills and abilities within the workplace.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
•Fragrance Development Management Qualification
•Plus: At least 5 years in a strategic position with exposure to senior management
•Presentation and customer interaction experience on the senior management level
•People management through a matrix and a diverse cultural organisation 
•Networks (internal &amp; external) Management
•Communication and presentation skills
•Office and business tools
•Willingness to travel throughout our SSA Region and abroad, aligned with Business needs.
